First of all let’s talk about Non Verbal Communications, I mentioned NVC’s to a friend of mine the other day and they looked at me blankly. “Body language.” I said. Or as Wikipedia interprets it: Non verbal communication is the transmission of messages or signals through a nonverbal platform such as eye contact, facial expressions, gestures, posture, and body language.
We all know someone whose face paints a thousands words when they see something they disagree with but they don’t actually verbalise it, but that look and the intake of breath, the shifting in their seat and crossing of the arms says more than enough.
It’s easy to spot the strong willed Alphas, as Dr Amy Caddy said when they walk into the room and they stretch out, feet up on the desk, or as often happens on the tube or the train the man spreading. Then there’s the wall flowers, the shy, head down, hand on neck quiet, submissive people. I could talk about body language all day and I still have so much to learn, but this is all about MOTIVATION so why are NVCs so important? It’s important because how you look and how you feel keeps that motivation hot. It keeps you inspired.

So strike that Wonder Woman Pose first thing in the morning. Do your usual morning routine and then take two minutes. Stand up feet slightly apart, hands on your hips. Yes, that’s it. It really is that simple. Tony Robbins does it every day.
